SlingPlayer for the iPhone now support Mobile TV over 3G

Sling Media announced its SlingPlayer Mobile App has been updated to support 3G networks and is available now on the App Store. Sling Media made the announcement at the start of the Mobile World Congress conference in Barcelona, Spain.

With access to the Internet and connection to a Slingbox® Solo, PRO or PRO HD, SlingPlayer Mobile software allows viewers to watch and control their living room television at any time from any location. SlingPlayer Mobile App users can change channels, control their DVR and watch their favorite shows, all on the iPhone® or iPod touch®.

The SlingPlayer Mobile App is available for U.S. $29.99, UK GBP £17.99, and Euro €23.99 from the App Store on iPhone and iPod touch or at www.itunes.com/appstore/.

The updated version is a free upgrade for existing users of the SlingPlayer Mobile App.
