Avatar has achieved a new milestone, breaking the 2 Billions mark and keeping the top spot in the box office for seven consecutive weeks, earning $30 millions this weekend (594.5 domestically), a few millions behind the record set by Titanic in USA of $601.

The worldwide box office for Avatar is set at $$2.039 billion, a very high mark for others to break and more interesting is the phenomenon that provokes that at more than a month of the premiere there still long lines of people waiting to see the movie.

Now the 2.5B mark looks more achievable and an easy target…
